March 2021

Spring exhibitions. March 2021.

With the end of lockdown now in sight, I’m pleased to provide some details on some upcoming shows. The Art Buyer Online Spring Show is on from 10-31 March. Four of my new photographs will be part of a show featuring 19 UK artists with 75 artworks on display including photography, painting, ceramics and textiles. Included is this plant study used on the poster, Tulipa 4. Gas Gallery will also have some of my new work in theirs spring show starting on 19 March. After that, there should be shows in April and May so I’ll provide details as soon as there is confirmation.

Autumn Studies. November 2020.

Autumn Studies. November 2020.

This month there are a number of new autumn plant studies on sale. You’ll find them in the Prints for Sale and #artistsupportpledge pages. Here is one of the first: Vitis 2. This is a grape vine which I planted about fifteen years and, at this time of year, it produces a wonderful range of autumn leaf colours. Here, I was drawn to the beautiful yellows which come as the stronger colours fade just before the leaves fall.

Super Nature, an art fair is at the Garden Museum, London, SE1 7LB from 8th-11th October featuring photography, painting, collage, print and ceramics. I’ll be showing new framed and mounted prints. The museum itself is worth a visit with a great restaurant and garden by Dan Pearson.
